We hope that your child’s time here will be a stimulating, exciting and a happy learning experience. Our aim is to provide and consistently maintain the highest standard of care and education in a safe, caring, and relaxed environment. Lansdowne Lodge
Pre-School Montessori was created and developed in May 2000 by it’s current
proprietor Margaret Smyth.

Margaret comes from a background working with children through theatre and drama. Margaret held children’s theatre workshops throughout Dublin and was one of the founding members of the currently successful ‘Team Theatre in Education Company’. Our ambition is to create a pre-school facility for children aged between 16 months – 5 years, our aim is that the children who attend our pre-school are cared for in a creatively educationally stimulating environment.

The world around us is full of creative possibilities and from birth our children are open to immense creative exploration. Here at Lansdowne Lodge, we aim to provide the platform
for your child to experience this process. Our nursery, classrooms and extra
curricular lessons are staffed by experienced, dedicated and caring professionals.

From our Tiny Tots Unit through to our Montessori Unit the emphasis is placed on creativity and learning in a controlled healthy and caring environment which is child led.

Lansdowne Lodge Pre- School Montessori aims to be a centre of excellence providing a safe, supportive, integrated and developmentally appropriate creative environment for each child’s individual needs. Our caring staff encourage the children to freely express themselves and instil in them an enthusiasm for learning through creativity thus helping each child to reach their full potential. We aim to create the right balance between a structured and flexible environment.
